JoshuaFeb 20, 20190 min readA Change of PlansUpdated: Feb 22, 2019It’s been a few days since I’ve returned back to Paran from Canaan with the rest of the spies. Many things have changed and not in a good way. To start, upon return, the rest of the spies besides Caleb had explained to Moses how they had no hope in the Promised Land. Moses tried explaining to them that they needed to give it a chance because God is mad at all of them right now, but once they reached the land, things will change. The spies didn’t give in which led to a huge rebellion breaking lose. One of the spies decided to start his own group and he announced to the Israelites, “Whoever wants to come with me back to Egypt, follow me.” This led to more than half of the group leaving because they had no faith in Moses or God. As a result, we were forced to leave the tabernacle behind because there weren’t enough people to help carry it. Throughout this entire trip, Moses has been getting extremely disrespected. No one has been listening to him because they would rather do what’s right for them and not for the greater good. As you can see, all of this has led to the point where I am at right now. Well, I’ve got to do a lot of work and rest up for tomorrow. Moses told us that we will be traveling to the land of Moab and if all goes well, it should take about two weeks. I’m very excited about this because I know that in the end, God will be here for all of us.
